I have been working for NHS and health charity clients for over fifteen years. I started by designing annual reports after working regularly as a freelance designer at the financial advertising agency Hill Murray (also known as CCHM).
Westminster Mind commissioned me to design their annual report for eight years. Usually restricted to two colour printing and, if budget allowed, we would use a photographer. Sometimes images came from the charity itself, including work one year by their arts projects – Portugal Prints. I have also designed an annual report and templates for City and Hackney Mind, the Neurological Alliance and two annual reports for Ataxia UK.
Whilst working for Hill Murray, Giltspur Communications and The Raffertys I designed annual reports for NHS Trusts. My busiest annual reports summer was in 2000, over a three month period I designed reports for seven NHS Trusts and the Imperial Cancer Research Fund.
Throughout my career I have worked with financial reports of all kinds, they are a unique typographic challenge and I’m happy to say I have won awards for them too – here’s a PDF detailing in full my annual reports experience and my reports CV.
